GPS Odometer Reader

An odometer/engine hour meter is a wireless GPS device installed on the dashboard and connected to the vehicle’s electrical system. The controller has a unique GPS module allowing distance measuring according to the vehicle’s location together with GPS satellites and a starter voltage measuring system. The adapter is installed by a certified technician knowledgeable in vehicle systems.Installation includes connecting the controller to the battery’s voltage through a protective fuse and installing a GPS antenna on the dashboard towards the open skies. Distance is measured by the GPS system and the and engine hour data by the starter voltage. At the end of installation, the odometer data and engine hour data will be updated in the GPS controller, and updated once more while starting the engine and driving.

Satellite Communication

Satellite CommunicationThe GPS controller includes VIU data installed on the fueling nozzle, required for verification when fueling. The station’s SCT controller will send the VIU and odometer data – and up-to-date engine hour data. The odometer and engine hour data will help show basic consumption data based on distance and engine operation hours data.

A Complete Solution

1 powerful RFID GPS tracking system for all your fleet management and monitoring needs.

Plug & Play

Passive RFID tags are simply placed on any asset to be monitored. They are easy to deploy and highly scalable, no IT required.

Affordable

Cost effective. A fraction of the cost of installing a RFID device on each asset.

IO's

Can also function as a wireless remote I/O for detecting door open/closed events.

How It Works

Overview

FuelPass VIU is a smart electronic unit using a low frequency (LF) RFID component. Each VIU has its unique ID and a security system including a sophisticated self-destruct mechanism.

The VIU does not require external power and works on induction on a uniform data structure and transmission system between devices.

They are designed for easy application on most industrial or consumer vehicles to wirelessly identify authorized vehicles to use the filling station and fuel type required controlled by Fuel Management Systems (FMS).

Secured Tag

FuelPass VIU tags are water and fuel-resistant and architected to withstand commercial fleet and retail fueling environments. to prevent fraudulent activities, vehicle tag models self-destruct if removed after installation

FuelPass VIU’s are available in several form factors, including built in to custom-made inlet adaptors and anti-siphon devices, to allow maximum flexibility during installation and operation, and to ensure robustness and perfect suitability for the operating environment.

This data incorporates cutting-edge encryption preventing duplication, copying, reading, and changing the contained data.

A unique algorithm will destroy this data during a copying attempt.

Simple Installation

The VIU is designed for modern vehicles where internal systems must be isolated from any external system.

For vehicles with multiple tank, each fuel hatch will have its own VIU and all will be programmed to the vehicle.

The VIU was designed for work under harsh environmental conditions, such as extreme cold or heat, fuel spills, and high-pressure steam cleaning of the fueling hatch.
